September 11th Floral Set Up

Hotel Maya, I'm liking you more and more...the familiarity is quite nice. :)
So, yesterday I set up the flowers for Deanne (http://bellafiore.net) at the Hotel Maya. It definitely was a lot to set up in terms of flowers. There were two floral pieces on each table and 6 ceremony pieces.
Fresh Start

This is what took me so long!
The tall pieces, not the entire table set up..
The hotel and linen people set up the ballroom.

The short pieces

The toss bouquet

The cake was BEAUTIFUL, but then again, I haven't seen a cake
from Rossmoor Pastries that wasn't absolutely stunning.

Sooo, there were two extra, tall, vases and some extra
flowers...I took it upon myself to design a piece to put by the escort card table
and one out on the deck overlooking the ceremony. :) I was super proud of it.

The wedding coordinator for the day, took it upon herself to put the aisle
runner out and splatter rose petals down the middle...not the original plan....and
it slightly irritated me. People should just let me do my job! gah!

But, overall, the ceremony area looked beautiful as well as the reception area.
All the flowers really tied everything together and broke up the striking color scheme
of neon green and hot hot pink. The flowers really fit in with the "Funky and Fresh" feel
that Deanne at Bella Fiore always strives to achieve. :)
