Nathan & Allison October 10th Wedding

I was able to work with allll my favorite vendors for Nathan and Allison's wedding! I was soo excited!! It's always nice when you are able to work with familiar faces who are always fun to be around. The Nowack wedding took place at the Ayers Hotel in Manhattan Beach. The architecture of that building on the inside was absolutely stunning!!

Each of the 18 tables were named after different cities that
the couple had been to throughout their relationship. On the
back of each table number/name, there was a picture from
that city and a small caption about their time there. I thought
it was sweet :) very creative idea Trini!

There's Trini, takin a blackberry break haha

I loved this piece that was in front of the ballroom!

Henry positioning the Bridal party for pictures before the reception :)

Cake Table. The couple ordered over 450 mini cupcakes
from Vanilla Bake Shop including red velvet, and strawberry
shortcake, among other favorites.

The adorable cake toppers.

Nathan and Allison had a lot in store for their guests. Everything from amazing hor'devours during the cocktail hour, escort cards that served as favors as well, drummers from UCI, a photobooth for their guests to make scrapbook pages for the bride and groom as well as to keep for themselves, and these fire dragon dancers (which personally, scared me being so close to them. I'm not down for large blinky eyes on a doll, let alone on one GIGANTIC dragon head! aah) but all in all, it was a very fun wedding to work at. It was definitely an easy wedding to work, being that Nathan is also in the wedding industry as a photographer, so everything went smoothly :) A fun night for sure. Congrats Nathan and Allison!

Alexandra & Chris Wedding October 9th

Well, I think I have waited long enough to finally post my craazzyyy weekend wedding blog. I guess I finally recovered from the back to back weddings! ;) This was the first couple that I had the chance to lead the rehearsal with. Trini was double booked for rehearsals on the same day, so she wanted me to start it off until she was able to make it back from LA. The rehearsal was at the Hotel Maya...surprised? Hotel Maya has definitely become my home venue in the passed few months I have been working with Trini as well as Deanne. It's nice to work at a venue where you are comfortable with the staff and they accommodate all of our needs while setting up. It was definitely a loong 45 hour work weekend for me. But every minute was well worth the exhaustion.

First off, was Alexandra and Chris' Wedding :)

I made most of the center pieces for Deanne. Succulents
were incorporated into the couple's design.

One of my favorite cakes so far :)
